My DIY Coffee Pot Terrarium

Inspired by my grandmother’s love of plants and coffee I up-cycled my old coffee pot into an air plant terrarium.


These air plants need minimal care making them a charming addition to any office desk or small indoor space needing a pop of greenery. Here is how I made it!

Gather your supplies



White Sand, colorful moss, river rocks, gemstones, and mini air plants


Arrange your plants



Cover what will be the floor of the terrarium with sand and colorful rocks, and arrange your plants.


Add your decorations



Add your moss, and gemstones around the outer perimeter.


Find a nice spot for your terrarium



You can mist your plants regularly or dunk them in water once a week to keep them moist.


Finally, enjoy your finished project with a good cup of coffee!
